Why HorsePlay?  We teach more than just riding. We carefully pair activities to best support our clients' social and emotional intelligence. How? HorsePlay harnesses the unique teaching power of equines: they are prey animals whose survival is dependent upon their keen ability to read and respond to body language and other non-verbal communications. They are also 100% authentic and non-judgmental. In other words, no matter who you are in - rank or appearance - they tell it like it is.

Hudson Valley HorsePlay, Kerhonkson, the region's only equine experiential learning center. HorsePlay structures observations and on-the-ground interactions with horses for improved social skills, recreational benefit, coaching, professional and personal development. Seasoned facilitators customize activities to address a range of themes such as Awareness, Empathy, Assertiveness, Building Trust, Planning, Communication, Leadership, Creative Problem-Solving, TeamWork, Accountability and others.  No previous horse experience is required.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in activities.
